It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Naomi Pomeroy, a beloved and well-known chef from the popular TV show “Top Chef”.
Naomi, aged 49, was tragically found in a river on July 17th, a few days after being reported missing. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Naomi had drowned.
An investigation into the incident revealed that Naomi, her husband Kyle Linden Webster, and a friend were enjoying a day on the water. They were all connected to each other by tubes and a paddleboard. While the rescue team managed to save the other two adults and bring them safely to shore, they unfortunately could not reach Naomi in time.
Sheriff Van Arsdall expressed his deep commitment to finding Naomi and bringing her back to her family. He expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the search and recovery efforts during this difficult time. Ultimately, a group of people in canoes discovered Naomi’s body. Officials determined that she was unable to free herself due to the paddleboard leash.
