Dancing with the Stars is no stranger to drama, and the upcoming season is no exception. According to Purepeople, tensions ran high between Natasha St-Pier and Inès Reg during training, leading to a fiery altercation. The singer was reportedly even suspended from the show for three days by the production team for violently insulting the comedian.
The incident allegedly took place during rehearsals just before the recording of the first live show. Inès Reg apparently requested that Natasha St-Pier lower the volume of her music while they were practicing their choreographies. This simple request ultimately sparked a heated argument between the two women. Things escalated to the point where the singer not only threatened to leave the show but also filed a lawsuit against her competitor, claiming she received death threats.
“It was very violent. Everyone was shocked, especially considering that Natasha St-Pier is known for her kind nature and excellent reputation in the industry. But things went too far, and she just wanted to protect herself,” a source revealed to Le Parisien.
Following the altercation, the production team took the decision to separate Inès Reg and Natasha St-Pier. They were assigned different studios for their training sessions. While neither of them has publicly addressed the incident, the singer indirectly responded by sharing a video on her Instagram story. In the video, she can be seen dancing with her so-called “best enemy” as well as Keiona, another target of Inès Reg’s alleged behavior.
However, according to Purepeople, there is more to the story. The site claims that the clash between the two stars was not only real but also captured on camera.
Purepeople also claims that after Inès Reg’s request to turn down the sound, Natasha St-Pier began to violently insult her. An unacceptable behavior for TF1 which would have “laid off for 3 days” while “the production has the proof of this altercation and the insults”. The site goes on to report that “panicked by the proportions that this affair had taken, the 43-year-old artist filed a handrail at the request of her manager to protect herself.” Another version of the affair, just as disturbing.
