Sunny Hostin, co-host of The View, expressed deep concern over Donald Trump returning to the White House and had her reservations about the results of the presidential election. She openly shared her disappointment, aligning with her fellow presenters on the show.

Alongside Sunny, the other hosts of The View have also shown strong support for Kamala Harris, Trump’s competitor in the election. They described Trump’s actions as “psychotic” and discussed his “levels of depravity” throughout the election period.

Hostin commented on the show, saying, “In 2016, we were unaware of what a Trump administration might entail, but now we are fully aware. We now understand the potential for unfettered power.”

Staying true to her word, Sunny Hostin decided to deactivate her account on what was formerly known as X after Trump’s win, citing her unwillingness to engage with Elon Musk.

Musk, by then, had been officially appointed as a “special government employee,” serving as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

She firmly stated, “I will neither purchase a Tesla nor buy Tesla stock.” Adding to her grievances, she accused Musk of ruining Twitter after taking control, though she was once an ardent fan of the platform.

She remarked, “Elon Musk foolishly renamed Twitter to X, turning it into a chaotic space,” further adding, “No one refers to it as X!” This was quoted by sources such as Decider.

Recently, circulating stories mentioned Sunny Hostin allegedly disparaging Musk on the show. Reports suggested Joy Behar, also a host on The View, apologized to Musk, clarifying that Hostin’s opinion did not reflect the entire show’s stance.

However, upon investigation, it became evident that Hostin never used derogatory terms against Musk during live broadcasts. No credible news source covered this rumor, and there are no available recordings to substantiate such claims.
