A mysterious illness has affected some MAGA supporters who attended the rally of former President Donald Trump in Tucson, Arizona. Despite the scorching heat of over 100 degrees, more than 2,000 individuals showed up for the September 12 event. Newsweek reports that attendees complained of itching, swelling in their faces, and discomfort in their eyes.

The origins of this outbreak are currently under investigation by campaign officials. Some have even given it the name “floating illness.” Determining the cause of the ailment is a top priority, and the organizers are eager to identify patient zero.

MAGA Supporters at Trump Rally

The Secret Service is taking this matter seriously and fully supporting the investigation. They have confirmed that there were no known or suspected threats prior to the rally.

Interestingly, only those standing on the right side of the stage seemed to be impacted by the symptoms. Those on the left side did not report any symptoms at all.

After the rally, Mayra Rodriguez, a former director of Planned Parenthood and a Trump supporter, experienced acute eye burning and vision impairment.

She visited the doctor, suspecting that she might have been sprayed with mace or some kind of aerosol. Other patients described the symptoms as “horrible” and “excruciating.”

One concerned Trump supporter worried that this outbreak could have been planned, while another man mentioned that his eyes were “red as hell.”

During the rally, President Trump pledged to eliminate tip taxes for service workers, despite these unfortunate occurrences. Vice President Kamala Harris, who coincidentally was in town for a private function that night, promptly echoed his vow.

These incidents took place in the midst of a tight election in Arizona, a battleground state where Harris and Trump are currently tied at 46% in the polls. Recent polling data suggests a slight advantage for Trump.

Arizonans who support MAGA believe that the rally will not only impact the presidential race, but also increase turnout for Kari Lake’s U.S. Senate candidacy. Conservatives understand the significance of their vote as the election approaches.

Supporters and organizers are eager to learn more while the research into this unexplained illness continues. The safety of every rally participant is of utmost importance, and actions will be taken to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
