After a recent performance, Steven Tyler, the legendary singer of Aerosmith, has suffered significant injuries. As a result, Tyler will be taking a break from performing for some time.
Tyler’s crew issued a statement explaining that he injured himself while singing during an Aerosmith event in Long Island. Concerned about his condition, Tyler promptly sought medical attention from his ENT physician in Boston. An examination revealed that his vocal cords were severely damaged.
It is believed that Tyler hurt his vocal cords early in his performance, although he showed incredible determination by completing his set without anyone realizing his discomfort.
However, his condition has worsened to the point where he is currently unable to communicate properly; only “squeaks” can be heard from his voice. Tyler’s ENT physician has advised him to rest his vocal cords for at least 30 days to allow them to heal.
In a heartfelt message to the fans, Tyler expressed his sadness over the situation and explained the severity of his condition. He revealed, “I have received severe doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days.
During the performance on Saturday, I damaged my vocal cords, causing further hemorrhage. As a result, we will have to postpone a few upcoming performances to ensure that we can return and give you the show you deserve.”
While there are no specifics about the nature of the injury, a source close to Tyler assured TMZ that despite this setback, Tyler’s determination and resilience remain unshaken. The source mentioned, “Steven is an animal. He cannot be stopped.” This gives hope that once Tyler takes the time to properly care for himself, he will come back stronger than ever before.
Let’s all send our thoughts and prayers to Steven Tyler during his recovery period. We eagerly await his return to the stage and look forward to hearing his iconic voice once again.
